清明節(jié)(the tomb-sweeping day),又稱“寒食節(jié)”，是中國人祭祀祖先最重要的'節(jié)日。清明節(jié)源于周朝，有2000多年的歷史。清明是中國24節(jié)氣(24 solar terms) 之一，它預(yù)示著春天的來i寒食節(jié)是人們?yōu)樽嫦葤吣?、吃冷食的?jié)日。清明與寒 食節(jié)相連，因此二者后來漸漸地成為一個節(jié)日，掃墓和吃冷食成了清明的習(xí)俗。 清明成了富有文化含義、意義重大的紀(jì)念節(jié)日。從古時起，就有很多有關(guān)清明的藝術(shù)作品和詩作。其中，唐代詩人杜牧寫的《清明》家喻戶曉。
tomb-sweeping day, also known as “cold foodfestival' is the most important festival for chinesepeople to offer sacrifices to ancestors. it sprangfrom the zhou dynasty, with a history of over 2,000years. qingming is one of the 24 solar terms inchina, showing the coming of spring. cold food festival is a day when people sweep theancestors' tombs and eat cold food. qingming was close to cold food festival, so later on theygradually became one festival, and sweeping tombs and eating cold food turned into thecustoms of qingming. qingming has evolved into a culture-rich and meaningful remembranceday. since the ancient times, there have been a lot of works of art and poems about these, the tomb-sweeping day composed by the poet du mu in the tang dynasty is ahousehold name.
1.祭祀祖先:即“給祖先供奉祭品”，故譯為offer sacrificesto ancestors。其中sacrifice 意為“祭品”。
2.擔(dān)墓:sweep tombs。
3.與...相連:表達“在時間上相連”，可譯為be close to。
